WordPressのセキュリティーを考え、PHPを更新しなくては…
と、気になっていた。
夏風邪の咳も治ってきたので、WPサイトのバックアップを取り、
PHPを更新することにした。
やれやれ…いざという時のためにFTP繋いで、
WPサイトのバックアップを取り、テスト環境にインポートして
PHPバージョン上げて検証して…OKだったら、
本番環境でPHPバージョン上げて…長い工程だな…
と、思いつついたんだけど…
設定可能を思い出し、
サーバー側で自動バックアップ設定を完了させる。
WPプラグインとサーバー管理画面を駆使することで
短時間で完了し、無事に表示チェックも完了。
あっさり出来て、うれしい！
そして、できる事が、また1つ増えて嬉しくなる。
アクセス解析1つとっても、WordPress上のプラグインから得られるデータと
Google Analytics 4やSearch Consoleで得られるデータ以外に
サーバー管理画面からアクセス解析結果を取得すると見えるデータが
また違い、おもしろい(^_^)
サーバー管理画面上から得られるデータは、より専門的で情報量も多く
意外な発見があって、楽しい！知的好奇心が満たされる！

PV数が多い事を知れて、嬉しくなると同時に
更新することに意味があることに気づける。
自分の専門分野において、
新しいことができるようになることや
新しい知識、経験を得られる事、
知的好奇心が満たされる事は、
とても楽しいなと思う。
For WordPress security, I need to update PHP…
I was curious.
My summer cold and cough are getting better,so I decided to backup my WP site and update PHP.
Oh well…I thought, “I have to connect to FTP in case of emergency,
take a backup of the WP site, import it into the test environment,
raise the PHP version, verify it…if it is OK,
raise the PHP version in the production environment…
I was thinking that it’s a long process….
But I remembered that it was configurable,
Complete the automatic backup setup on the server side.
By making full use of WP plugin and server panel,
It was completed in a short time, and the display check was successfully completed.
I’m glad it was so easy!
I can now do more!
And I am happy that I can do one more thing.
For access analysis, besides the data obtained from plug-ins on WordPress,
Google Analytics 4 and Search Console,
there are different data that can be seen from the server panel, which is very interesting.
The data obtained from the server panel is more professional, informative, surprising,
and fun! It satisfies my intellectual curiosity!
At the same time,
I am happy to know that the number of PV is higher than that of GA4 and WP plugins in the access analysis results obtained from the server.
I realize that updating the site is meaningful.
I thought it was fun to be able to do new things, gain new knowledge and experience,
and satisfy my intellectual curiosity in my field of expertise.
